Philipp Engstler is a founding member of flowdays Cooperative
Philipp Engstler has worked for over 15 years in leading positions in the Internet and e.commerce industry. He has a degree in computer science specialising in business information management and holds multiple Certificates of Advanced Study.
He works independently as Agile Coach and Trainer and as Interim Leader. He specialises in organisational development, culture transformation, Management 3.0, Continuous Improvement & Innovation, Scrum and Kanban, portfolio management, and Agile transformations.
As a Agile Leadership Journey Guide, he accompanies Managers and Leaders in the transition towards a more digital and agile Leadership person. As well, he is creating content for the global agileleadershipjourney.com community.
From 2014 to 2016 Philipp worked as interim Head of Engineering at localsearch.ch, where his particular achievement was to introduce a successful Agile culture whose convincing performance benefits led to widespread adoption by other departments.
Prior to that Philipp worked for five years as CTO/CIO of the ricardo group in Zug, Switzerland. He initiated and oversaw the transformation of ricardo Group IT into an Agile organisation. The IT unit comprised 80 employees at three pan-European locations.
He is a convinced Agilist and involved in the Agile community. He is a moderator of the Agile Breakfast Lucerne organised by the Lean, Agile & Scrum community of SwissICT (the leading professional association for Swiss Information and Communication Technology).
