Short Bio
Georg Rekas studied economics and business administration at the Universities of Hanover and Göttingen. After his studies, he started his career in consulting with a focus on project management, organizational development and IT consulting. After moving to the line, Georg was able to gain more than 10 years of professional experience in various management positions such as project manager, department manager and director of application development with responsibility for around 160 employees. In these management positions, he was able to accompany employees on their professional paths for many years, support them in their development and learn together with them. Georg is not only convinced of lifelong learning, but in particular of the agile mindset and consistent customer focus. He now passes on his knowledge and experience in IT and the introduction of agile methods to managers as an independent leadership coach. Privately, Georg is a passionate photographer, listens to jazz and dances Tango Argentino. Incidentally, Tango Argentino is also about leading and following. Here he sees many parallels to agile leadership, but ask him yourself!
