Workshop Overview
New Fundamentals is an immersive, four-session experience designed to equip leaders, executives, transformation managers, and change agents with the mindsets, methods, and tools needed to navigate and shape the age of AI.

Building on the human-centric philosophy of Management 3.0, the adaptive structures of unFIX, and inspired by Jurgen Appelo’s book Human Robot Agent, the workshop explores the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence on individuals, teams, and entire organizations.

Through a structured blend of interactive modules, case-based discussions, and visual tools, New Fundamentals empowers participants to navigate the complexity of Wicked Problems in the AI era. They reflect on the evolving roles of humans and leaders when incorporating AI—not only as a tool, but also as a digital teammate or even a decision-maker in the work environment.

Participants explore why learning to (un)learn and becoming an M-shaped worker is essential. They explore the growing role of algorithmic decision-making and its implications for leadership, governance, and culture—asking not just how to use AI, but also why we need humans in the loop and what ethical perspectives are necessary.

They examine how to enhance meetings and collaboration—and what more flexible, adaptive organizational structures might look like.

The learning journey concludes with concrete tools for personal leadership development and organizational readiness—empowering participants to lead with clarity, courage, and purpose in a world increasingly shaped by intelligent systems.

AGENDA

  • The Industrial Revolutions and the Age of AI
  • The Multi-Level Impact of AI
  • Personal Impact and Development
  • Team Leadership in AI-enriched Environments
  • Algorithmic Management and Decision-Making
  • Organizations for Humans and AIs

  • Leadership in the Age of AI

Prerequisites

Some familiarity with agile and lean methods and principles in general is helpful. Deep experience is unnecessary, but we will not explain basic concepts such as feedback cycles and continuous improvement.

Target Audience

  • Executives and senior leaders navigating uncertainty and responsible for shaping resilient, future-ready organizations in an AI-driven world.
  • Transformation managers and change agents seeking better strategies for complex, unpredictable challenges—and craving more than “another framework.”
  • Organizational designers, HR leaders, and agile coaches aiming to build structures where humans and AI thrive together.
  • Team leads and practitioners wanting practical tools to use AI ethically and effectively with their teams.
  • Consultants and facilitators expanding their capabilities to include AI-enhanced strategies, systems thinking, and pattern-based organizational design.
  • Alumnis working with SAFe, Team Topologies, unFIX, or Management 3.0 who are ready to take the next step into algorithmic management, complexity thinking, and the realities of leading in the age of AI.
  • Curious pioneers—regardless of title—ready to unlearn, experiment, and co-shape the future of work, not just observe it.
