Description

Agile Change Leadership Workshop - Cover slide

How can we inspire and enable change in complex environments?

In a world of constant change and technological innovation, where volatility and response time become a survival factor in organisations, companies are looking for new ways to respond to these changes, including new practices and models. The Agile Change Leadership Workshop introduces the Management 3.0 Change Models in depth, examines the components and gives guidance on how to use them for your daily business to drive evolution and organisational development in the desired direction. Furthermore you will look into what it means for organisations to experiment, how the introduction of co-created goals such as OKRs can help you, and how to introduce them in the most effective ways.

Lead your organisation and your team through change with tangible tools, practices and the best strategies.

After this immersive program, you will have a solid foundation of skills to create enabling conditions and practices of change in your organisation:

  • Know how to start your own experiments in a safe-to-fail environment

  • Have ideas on how to adapt your change project

  • Understand how to engage in Complex Adaptive Systems

  • Know how to facilitate OKR plannings

  • Judge good and not-so-good OKRs and metrics

For Whom

  • Leaders with authority and responsibility to lead organisations and people through change

  • Product-, Program-& Portfolio-Managers driving change design and delivery

  • External Change Agents - Consultants, Coaches and Mentors supporting change

  • Visualise the enabling and hindering forces of a desired change in a Complex Adaptive System (such as an organisation)

  • Explore various change management models - PDCA, ADKAR®, Change Adoption Curve, 5 Is of the Environment and Satir’s Change Model

Which practices will you experience or learn about?

Visualising relationships in a Complex Adaptive System, allowing us to

understand complexity by seeing causes and effects in the system.

Module 2

  • Learn how innovative organisations embrace and celebrate failure and learning
  • Explore how you can create a safe-to-fail environment
  • Practice ways to encourage teams and co-workers to run more experiments

Which practices will you experience or learn about?

    Celebration Grids

Whether we succeed or fail, what’s important is to learn from our experiments and celebrate learning

    Yay! Questions

What did we do well and what did we learn? Emphasising learning over right versus wrong is a key practice to create a psychologically safe environment for experimentation.

    Module 3

    • The upsides and downsides of metrics and measuring in an organisation
    • 12 principles of metrics for a learning organisation
    • What are Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and how to use them
    • Vanity metrics and actionable, learning-oriented metrics

Which practices will you experience or learn about?

    OKRs (Objectives Key Results)

OKRs are a simple way to create structure for companies, teams, and individuals. OKRs

help you to create learning organisations, and get teams and people out of their comfort

    zone.

    Bonus:

What’s next? - Experience an Open Space (Optional participation)

An Open Space is an organisational pattern designed to enable co-creation of change experiments by employees. Inviting people to a regular Open Space increases ownership and participation in the entire change process. We facilitate and hold Open Spaces online and F2F regularly in our client organisations and also publicly as open events. We warmly welcome you to participate in one of our future events.
