Description

Immerse yourself in agile management principles and equip yourself with practical tools to transform your team's effectiveness.

The Management 3.0 Foundation Workshop comprehensively overviews agile management, blending theoretical foundations with hands-on practices. Whether you're a seasoned agile practitioner or just starting to explore this approach, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge and tools to lead and empower your team toward success.

Originally designed for software development teams, teams across various industries and disciplines have embraced Management 3.0's principles and practices. This workshop will demonstrate how to apply these principles to your unique context and foster a culture of autonomy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Management 3.0 Foundation Workshop directly addresses several key challenges faced by managers, particularly in the areas of remote work and rapid technological change:

  • Remote Work:
    • Building Trust and Collaboration: Management 3.0 emphasizes self-organization, autonomy, and trust. The workshop provides tools and techniques to foster a sense of connection and collaboration among team members, even when working remotely.
    • Managing Virtual Teams: The workshop covers effective communication, delegation, and feedback strategies in a remote setting. It helps managers navigate the challenges of time zones, cultural differences, and the lack of face-to-face interactions.
    • Encouraging Engagement and Motivation: Remote work can lead to feelings of isolation and disengagement. Management 3.0 practices like motivation circles, retrospectives, and self-organization can help boost morale, create community, and motivate teams.
  • Rapid Technological Change:
    • Adaptability and Agility: The workshop promotes a mindset of continuous learning and improvement, which is essential for navigating the ever-evolving tech landscape. It teaches managers to foster a culture of adaptability and agility within their teams.
    • Empowering Teams: Management 3.0 emphasizes empowering teams to make decisions and take ownership of their work. This empowers them to embrace new technologies and find innovative solutions to challenges.
    • Staying Up-to-Date: The workshop exposes the latest management trends and practices, including agile methodologies and lean principles, which can help managers and their teams stay relevant in the fast-paced tech industry.

In addition to these specific challenges, the workshop also addresses other common management concerns, such as:

  • Performance Management: Management 3.0 offers alternative approaches to traditional performance reviews, focusing on feedback, self-assessment, and continuous improvement.
  • Change Management: The workshop provides tools and techniques for effective change management, helping teams make the next development step.
  • Leadership Development: The workshop can help managers develop leadership skills, such as communication, decision-making, and motivation.

Overall, the Management 3.0 Foundation Workshop is designed to provide tech managers with a comprehensive toolkit to address the unique challenges of their role and lead their teams to success in the ever-changing tech landscape.

Embark on a journey of agile mastery and discover how Management 3.0 can revolutionize your team's performance.

Why attend the workshop facilitated by me? I am one of the few facilitators allowed to facilitate all workshops offered by Management 3.0. I was the first facilitator with the Certificate of Practice, showing that I applied the Management 3.0 practices. Furthermore, I am one of the few facilitators creating new modules. The last reason could be that I have been in management for over 15 years!

You won't need to prepare for this workshop. The only thing you need to do is think upfront about your organization's management challenges.

Coffee, tea, and lunch are included. Please let me know if you have any special diet requirements for lunch.

We start at 9:00 and end around 17:00.

The workshop will be in English unless we all speak Dutch. Materials will always be in English.

We need at least four people to attend. If four people register, I will check if you agree. The workshop will continue with five or more people.
